This is my second time here, and yet again outstanding. I had an exceptionally delicious yellow curry, with some tasty spring rolls on the side. Superb and accommodating staff, going above and beyond what we expected. We picked up our take-out food and sat outside on the benches, and one friendly staff member gave us waters and extra napkins. The last time I was here the inside was nicely decorated and quite a pleasant atmosphere. This is definitely a place I'd visit if I'm in the area.

This place is surprisingly good! The Spicy Thai Fried Rice is so tasty, it’s a must try! The Red Curry with Beef is also good but portion is a little small for my liking. Also the Ice-cream Fried Banana was really good also, a must try. Overall experience was very pleasant, the waitress was very thoughtful of her making sure my family is comfortable and not cold because we wanted to satisfy by the windows.

To the staff and owners of Friendly Thai; An absolutely huge thank you for being open during the pandemic for takeout and always greeting with a smile. Your food is always delicious and always consistent. Very much appreciate coming in!

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm and friendly service. The food at Friendly Thai is simply outstanding. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Thai dishes, all bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the Pad Thai and the Green Curry, which were both cooked to perfection with just the right balance of spices. The atmosphere at Friendly Thai is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The decor is charming, and the restaurant is impeccably clean. Overall, Friendly Thai is a fantastic dining option in Gibsons, offering delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine!

This place has become a must-visit every time I come to Sunshine Coast! Truly a hidden gem. The Tom Yum is full of rich, spicy flavors, and the Pad Thai is always cooked to perfection. One of the best spots around - never disappoints!

So good!! Whatever I tried here blew the lid of my head. Cashew curry, tom yum soup and red curry were awesome. Mango with sticky rice as dessert was the icing on the cake - it's a must have here. Two thumbs up for the courteous and efficient service. This place will always be on the list for visiting Gibson the next time.

This is the restaurant I go to most. Food is always good, fast, and a very chill vibe if you’re not looking for somewhere fancy.

Stopped by for lunch on my way to Sechelt from the ferry. Their lunch special is a really great deal - comes with a little soup, spring roll, salad, and your choice of entree. I got the pad thai and requested it to be spicy. It definitely had a nice burn to it and was all in all quite tasty. The only thing I’d change is maybe have a little more protein in the pad thai - either chicken or tofu, I’d be happy to pay even a bit more for that. The food came out very quickly and the service is very friendly and attentive. I’d love to come back with friends and try some other dishes!!
